Why to be productive? Productivity is need of the hour, you have to be productive every-day, be it your office your school or college.

We all love to perform tasks and expect results from it but do we make our tasks productive? Are we able to fully get the results out of what we do?

There may be many of you who might say that they are productive enough, but here I want to ask you this question that whether you are getting results from what you are doing, are the results satisfying enough? Does these results meet your standard? If not then you are at the right place and don’t worry in this article I am going to get you going.

And these 5 habits will surely make your everyday productive and manageable too.So without further dues let’s get started.

1. Wake up early in the morning

Best 5 ways to be productive

This can’t get any simpler than that, just make this your habit to wake up early in the morning when your tank is all charged up and try to get the difficult tasks of the day done.

Many of us now a days are night owls and prefer staying up late at night wasting our times on social media platforms or even playing games (that’s me XD), many would say “but we are the most productive at night”, yeah that might be true but Humans are programmed by nature to sleep early and wake up early and if you sleep late at night and wake up late in the mornings then my dear friend you are missing those beautiful morning frequencies and that primitive energy of the human mind, If you are not able to wake up early in the morning or you still feel sleepy and gloomy after waking up you should try this.

For example you used to sleep 2 in the morning and used to wake up 10 in the morning what you can do is try shifting 15 or 20 or even half an hour behind and sleep 15 min earlier or whatever suits you, your mind is a clock and if you are accustomed to sleep 8 hours then your body will automatically wake up after that 8 hours of sleep, this takes time for your biological clock to set in but if this works it will work wonders for you.

Just keep this in mind that the aura of early mornings is altogether at a different level.

2.Start Your Day With What You Love

This can be anything under the sun, if you like playing video games then just go for it, this gives you a boost or a power-up for the rest of your day, I’ll not ask you to waste your whole morning in video games or stuff just a few minutes to give you that snap from sleepiness and then trying to get the harder tasks done first, for example if you are a student then getting your Mathematics exercise will be more beneficial as it demands more energy and time

3.Get Power naps

Yeah you heard it right, all the sleepoholics out there, slipping power naps in between your day will get you energized immensely and will give you a fresh start, power naps reduces frustration and anxiety and helps you gain motivation for your work.

I do not recommend dozing off during a meeting or a lecture but to find a quiet spot which may be anywhere in your surrounding area and getting a power nap anywhere between 10-20 minutes.

It is said that Leonardo Da Vinci used to take 20 minutes of power nap after every 4 hours and didn’t use to sleep (and the rest is history)

4.List down the tasks you need to perform in your entire day

Just make a diary or use sticky notes and note down every task you want to perform in your entire day, it can be anything simple as watering the flowers or to make a call to any of your loved one.

List down 10-15 tasks and start by completing at least 3-6 of them and for your first day that is also enough, this idea may seem boring and tiresome for many out there who don’t have the habit to use pen or pencil but trust me when you complete a task and strike that out from your list it is a sigh of relief and a sense of achievement.

5.Reflect On What you have done in the entire day
