Happiness is a potential and a very
important tool tapped by very few. Each and every individual want to stay happy
always and want to enjoy that sense of eternal and perennial ecstasy but it is
easier said than done.
In this fast paced and ever evolving world
happiness has become a dream for the majority of the population. You may earn
money. Earn dignity, earn all the fame that you desire, but happiness comes to
a few and could be understood by very few out there.
In this article we are going to look at
what is actually the meaning of happiness and how to attain happiness, so that
you may be able to enjoy your life to the fullest.
What is happiness?
The fact is that you have been sent to this
World to attain something really very important and you are a lucky soul to
have taken birth here because chances are, you may get struck by lightning 14
times than being born on this planet. This is the probability of having a life.
Happiness is that feeling that you attain
when you complete a tremendous task and feel a rush for a couple of seconds
because of that dopamine and adrenaline rush inside of you. When that same
feeling is extended for a larger span of time that is eternal happiness. This
happiness even lasts when you are sad.
How to be always be happy?
The day you start dwelling in this present
moment, that day you attain a sense of pure happiness and then you will realise
how to always stay happy. When you stop living in the past (which is long gone
and will never come back) or anticipate the future (which could not be
predicted by any entity) - you start living in the moment and all worries
vanish from your life. You will feel yourself to be in a seamless and
ever-flowing life that you have always desired.
These are the 3 top tips that I would give
you on how to be happy in life and once you follow them or at least try to
implement them in your day-to-day life your mind would take them to be a
permanent state of mind and happiness will come naturally to you. You would
feel happy in the most tensed and treacherous situations and manoeuvre them
really efficiently. Everything that I give you would be practical and physical
exercises that will surely guarantee you success.

Believe you me this is the real game
changer and this is why I have kept it at the top spot on the list. Most of the
people around the world consider meditation as something evil because the surrounding
society has set standards that only the monks in the Himalayas meditate and if someone
takes up meditation that person will leave this materialistic world behind in
search for peace and will never come back.
I have been meditating over 9 months now
and what I have seen some major changes in my overall mental health.
I am able to reverse-engineer the stuff
going around me which helps me getting a deeper insight of things and people
around me. I am able to enjoy the small things around me, those small moments
of joy and happiness and slowly but steadily I am getting a nag of it.
Meditation is a habit and it trains your
brain/mind to be in a constant state of ecstasy once you learn how to master it
completely. Start by 1-2-minute meditations and then crank your way up you will
see many benefits of meditation like increased productivity, focus, happiness,
compassion and creativity.

When you are stressed, anxious or in
depression the one thing that is common to each and every human being is that
you are in a constant state of rut, captivity and procrastination with zero
motivation and a feeling, that of a prisoner.
It might be the most sunny and beautiful
day outside, but if you are going through depression, anxiety or stress it
would still be a gloomy day for you.
Do not worry my friend. The World might
seem like a prison to you. You might be feeling trapped inside your own mind
and might be thinking that this will be your constant phase for the rest of
your life. But, have faith because everything fades away and there is happiness
all around you. Your mind has just made an invisible curtain in front of you
which stops you from being happy and joyful and that curtain is absolutely
hypothetical. Your mind needs time to sink in with these facts, so do not panic
or feel stressed out if you are not able to understand what I say.
Try to enjoy those small meals that have
been prepared in your home today, try to feel - the taste, the warmth, the
spice, the sweet, the sour, the bitter everything that you might feel with each
and every bite and embrace that process.
If there is wind blowing outside of your
house just go outside close your eyes and feel the wind, touch your body and
for a moment feel that you have just been born without any obligation to this
world and in that bit of time you will feel the moment of awakening. This is a
major player when it comes to being happy in life.
Journal your drawbacks

This might be intimidating for most of you
and will make many of you procrastinate this specific task but you have to do
this. I felt quite intimidated to jot everything down on a piece of paper and
stare at my own drawbacks. You will have to be really very honest with yourself
and write everything down in an absolute raw form.
Once you write down your drawbacks start
analysing them and reverse engineering them, marking the triggers attached to
them and going through a self-development schedule for yourself. For example,
if you have an addiction of scrolling Instagram without any purpose and
comparing yourself with those, model like dude and dudettes and feeling
insecure with your own self then you really have to keep track of yourself, and
catch yourself whenever you find yourself in the same position again. Repeat
this process over and over again until you get rid of this habit and may be
able to strike that drawback off your list. Try it once, you will start
enjoying the whole process.
Bonus Tip
Stop things to impress other people and
start impressing yourself. If you are stuck in that job or in that career which
your parents want you to do and you want to be an artist or an athlete just
listen to your intuition and follow your heart.
Your parents might be angry at you first
because you went against what society has brainwashed you to be but do not feel
sad because your family will be more than happy when you succeed and you will
save them from your cussing and ranting in the near future if you would have followed
the path that they has set for you.
Hence, if you follow these tips you would
unlock the key to be always happy in life and will be happy anytime, anywhere
with anyone. Mark my words when you would be in your final years of your
journey in this World, you will look back at these moments, will smile and pat
your back, cherishing everything that you did to enjoy your life to the
fullest.
